Product Description
Welded outlet fittings are installed through various methods depending on the type of fitting.
Weldolet: Welded on one side to the run pipe using a full penetration weld, and welded or screwed on the branch pipe. The run pipe should be properly cut near the branching area.
Sockolet: Similar to Weldolet, but uses socket welding on the branch side as per ASME B16.11. It can be "size-to-size" or "reducing."
Thredolet: Used for low-pressure 90° branches, threaded onto a pipe connector welded to the run pipe, usually in NPT threads.
Latrolet: Provides a 45° branch with socket weld or threaded connection for robust applications.
Elbolet: Used with elbows for 90° or 180° connections, offering welded or threaded/socket connections.
Nipolet: Used for valves, drainage, or venting, with socket or threaded outlets on the branch side.
Sweepolet: Designed for low-stress applications, with welds checked by non-destructive methods.
